Why do I paint?

Why do I paint?

Surely because it was my father who taught me to take the first steps in painting. Who discovered that I had that concern. Because I am basically visual, of images. Because I am moved by light, colors, movement, space. Because painting helps me to incorporate them to me, to interpret them and express them.

But why watercolor?

Maybe because it is light, transparency, cleanliness and spontaneity.

I feel  identified with it and happy when I do it.
